Heat a skillet to medium-high heat and add in the oil. Add ground beef and brown while crumbling for about 4 minutes. Once slightly browned, add in the spices and Worcestershire sauce. Stir and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Mix in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.
Meanwhile, steam the bao buns according to the package directions. Use either a bamboo steamer or a steamer basket.
Combine all of the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl and set aside.
Fill the buns with ¼ cup of the ground beef mix. Top with shredded lettuce, tomato, more cheddar cheese and sauce.
